Bo’s was created to bring the neighborhood of Hillcrest fresh seafood and local beers. We serve only the freshest of fish from local distributors. We also feature 6 rotating drafts of San Diego’s finest Microbrews. This business comes naturally to Bo. Both of his grandfathers were of great influence on his dream to create Bo’s Seafood Market and Grill. His maternal grandfather, the Original Bo (whose likeness is featured in the logo) kindled Bo’s love for seafood and sport fishing along the California coast. Original Bo’s famous clam chowder recipe was finally passed on to him days before the grand opening. Additionally, Bo’s paternal great-grandfather and grandfather owned and operated Koebel’s Meats and Seafood in Cincinnati, Ohio. They served the neighborhood for over 92 years relying on a knowledgeable staff, outstanding customer service and quality meats and seafood.
