Bo's Seafood Market & Grill is an undiscovered gem. They offer fresh, not frozen, local sea food. I have eaten there twice, so far. The white sea bass was perfectly cooked, no need for sauce. And the calamari tacos were fried crispy without excess grease.

Seafood and good San Diego beer... sounds like a good combo and it is! The clam chowder really is as good as people say - quite a bit of nice chewy clam in there.

Oh, man, I am seriously addicted to Bo's! It turns out their salads are amazing.

Great fish and chips. I'm always on the lookout for good fish and chips. Fish is fresh and fried to a crispy crunch, not greasy. And the fries are well done and lightly flavored.

This was a great find. My wife and I had a late lunch and found ourselves in Hillcrest and found Bo's in the Trader Joe's/Ralph's shopping center on University. I had a big shrimp/crab sandwich with very good, nicely seasoned fries and my wife had an albacore salad. Both were delicious.

WOW! This place really knows fish! Can't believe there is finally a fish market it Hillcrest. Bo's is a great place to come with family for some clam chowder, or with friends for a few beers.

My friends and I absolutely loved this place. The fish ceviche appetizer was a great way to get started. I had the fish and chips. The fish itself was light and fluffy but the batter made the meal.
